Greetings all, My friend bought some Rockford Fosgate Stage 2's and put them in a random bandpass box. The 4 ports rattle like hell and the internal volume and all that crap is totally incorrect. The subs look like they work and he's looking to sell them cheap because he "doesn't like the sound." (I didnt tell him that its the boxes fault hehe) Since he bumps those subs in that horrible box would it be a bad idea to buy them? Cause if that wrecks them and whatnot then I will look elsewhere. Its a chance for me to get a great deal. Thanks, Eric |

No way, boxes do not ruin speakers. It's bad amplifiers, and people that do know when to turn down the volume when the speaker gets distorted. Go ahead and buy them. Then make the right volume box for them. |
