I'm more or less new at this, and i'm having some trouble hooking up my amp. EEvery time i go to connect my ground wire to my amp, i blow my fuse. I've tried it on 2 different amps and can't figure out how to prevent this from happening. At the time of connecting the ground wire, i have a 4 guage wire connected to the + side that's connected to my batter. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

take the leads off of the battery before you connect it.. then connect positive first then negetive terminals without making it arc on the terminal.

make sure all your wireing is correct with the negitive battery cable disconnected and the main fuse out. then connect the negitive battery terminal. toutch the fuse holder ends together, then install the fuse.
