I attempted to wire up my Alpine mrd-m301 today and connected the positive to a 12v car battery and ground etc... I was expecting to get at least the 12v displayed on the front, Is this because the Remote lead was not connected, and if so how can i replicate the remote signal??

i just bought it second hand and wondered if it worked, its got a display on the front which displays the voltage when on, so i need to know if its broken or just because the remote lead isnt plugged in?charz |
