is the zapco ref500 a good amp to run one 12 inch RE SE? or are there better options? the sub is dual 4ohm. thanks in advance.

REF 500.1 (500rms @ 2ohm) would be a perfect amp for the SE rated at 600rms.

You probably cant get any better than that unless you went with a moded (bridged 2ohm stable mono) 3.0x from the Zapco C2K that puts out 600rms but that would be an overkill.
