my dad just gave me a sony cdx c680 head unit for my probe that he got a while back. my question though is will it play a burned cd? the head unit i have in there right now will, and if this one wont, ill just put it in my truck, if it will, ill put this in my probe and put the one in my probe in my truck. any help is appreciated |

I dont see why it wouldnt be able to read a burnt CD. The format is just the same as the original CD. Now, if you're talkin about MP3's and WAVs then i dont know, i'd have to look that model up. But i think you should be fine playing your CDs with that HU. |

Most after market decks will play burnt cds. I had a 1999 sony that would, so I am sure it will to. |

I think i've only had one aftermarket deck that didn't play CD-Rs, and it was a very old Alpine. |
