hey everbody,
I am looking into purchasing one kicker L7 15'. What amp should I power it with, the sub kicks out 1000 watts RMS. Also What enclosure would fit it best and provide the best bass. Should i purchase a capacitor as well.

The JL Audio 1000/1 amplifier is one of the best amplifiers on the market. It's pricey though at about $800 but it'll put 1000 Watts RMS and powerful yet very clean bass.

This is the wrong forum for this question but if I had an L7, and I didn't want to spend gobs of money on the JL,I would get a Hifonics BX1000D. As for the cap, it depends on what its going in, and before I got a cap, I would get a bigger alternator.

yea a cap wont fix the problem, ju st make it worse. but yea for a cheap amp go with the bx1000d there are a few other cheap ones that arent worth getting though, maybe an ednine.1 for 350 shipped, nice stuff.

BUT! if you get a cap most brands arent differnet go with what you can afford and the rule of thumb is for every 1000 watts go with 1 farad
