i just bought a 4 gauge full wiring kit and it only came with a 60amp fuse from the battery. i am running a 1000 watt amp should i get a bigger fuse or is the 60amp fine?

4 gauge is recommended maximum fuse size of 125 amp. 60 amp fuse will work unless your amp draws more than 60 amps. You say your running a 1000 watt amp is this rms or max? What size fuse does your amp have?

its best to find a 120amp fuse for your wiring kit

ur gonna have to get a new inline fuse holder. Get an ANL fuse holder and they have 100 150 and 200 amp fuses.
