I have 2-RFD2208 8 inch dual 4ohm 400RMS subs. I am looking to wire them with a RF 800.2(400w RMSx2 at 2ohms) Will this work? How do I wire?

yes. wire the vc's of each sub in parallel to one channel of the amp per sub. http://www.bcae1.com/spkrmlti.htm |

J.W. Thanks for the help. On that page you linked, do I follow the diagram right before the water pump examples start? |

Hey J.W. or anyone, sorry to throw another curve. The only other amp I am looking at is a Kicker KX650.4 that is 325RMSx2(bridged) 4 ohms stable. I am unsure how to make a 4 channel amp into 2 channels and then hookem up to my 4ohm DVC subs. Help?? |

you'd be ok with that kicker amp. just bridge it to two channels. check the manual on what's the exact hookup. pretty sure that amp is bridgable. what's your budget? |

Thanks, I could get the RF amp just a bit of a stretch money wise. What is the main advantage it has over the Kicker? |

i'm not a big fan of RF's new amps. kicker makes better amps right now. if you're not set on getting something new, i would look for an older orion on eBay. the XTR800.2 would destroy either of those amps. ppi PC class amps are good also. |
