hey, ok i was travelling to chicago this past week for a little vacation. i unplugged my speaker wires to my sub so my sub wouldnt be moving because i didnt want to scratch it. when i got back it seems that my amp had somehow barely joined the tips of the speaker wire and the amp had shut off. the fuse was blown. when i went to switch out the fuse i did not disconnect the ground and the battery. i just tried to stick the fuse in (the car was off, not thinking right). it sparked. i unplugged the ground from the AMP and then stuck the fuse in. when i tried to reconnect the ground at the AMP I think i fried it. when i got home (was in parkinglot) i unplugged the ground at the bat and redid everything with a good fuse. it turned on but smoked a little and wouldnt play. its an MTX 311d what should i do to fix it, see if its fixable?? Thanks |

smoke is generally never a good thing coming from an amp =). Is the amp under any sort of warranty? |
