I just ordered a 12w7 and am still in need of an amp. I'm thinking I should get a JL 1000/1 but, if there is a cheaper amp that's just as good, that's cool too. Oh, and what kind of cap should I get? |

I would get the 1000/1, you obviously didn't skimp on the sub so you shouldn't skimp on the amp. As for the cap, sorry but I don't know. |

If your already thinking it, then you should get it. I am not sure what the 1000/1's go for but unless your wanting to spend "more" just stick with the JL you'll be happy with it. |

as for the cap, i here alot of people say "a cap is a cap is a cap" so get a 1 or 2 farad cap. but thats not stop your headlights from dimming maybe the first 10 mins of slammin hard but after that they will dim again. HO alt. |
