Have u tested how many watts these actually produce. for ex. my PPI A300.2 is rated at 75 watts @4ohm at 12v but how many watts would it really produce in a car. and how would i test this personally. what instrument would i use.
how much does your PPI PC2300.2 really produce???
Same thing goes with the Orion 250 G4. how many watts???

If you have a DMM, you can measure the amount of current the amp is using up. Then take your voltage and multiply by the current. That will give you how much power is being set to your speakers. It's not the most accurate way, but nevertheless, it is close.
On my PPI2300.2 amp, I got around 100w rms x 2 easily (clean useable power).
On G4, I have not been able to drive it to the max yet. Around 65% - 70%, it gets too loud for indoor and outdoor testing.
Since G4 has unregulated power supply, you'll easily get over 800w rms. Unlike some cheap amps (Sony/Pyramid/Pyle/Lanzar/Hifonics/Boss), G4 will produce as stated and much more.
