How many seperates are you talking about 2 or 4?

If 4 look into getting a 5ch and use the 5th ch to power the sub or even a 6ch and bridge ch 5/6. But for 400rms a 5ch should be able to put up those numbers.

I have XTANT 1001 amp that im trying to find a good buyer on. It is pretty much in mint condition because I just got it back from the FACTORY to get the updated motherboard. This thing bumps my 2 12in diamond subs really good. All 3 still has the extanted warranty that I have bought. I have bought the amp for 1200.00 and askin 700.00 obo and the 2 Subs I have bought it for 350 each and asking 300.00 obo for both subs. Call (425) 985-5415 or email me unan0@hotmail.com. I live in Washington state.
