My friends amp turns on for like 3 seconds when the car turns on, but it's in protection mode. We messed around with the ground today, and when i took it off, the light went off, but when i put it on, the protection light came on. Anyone know what this might be?

Unhook the sub wires and try it. Sound like you subs are wired to low in ohms. |

The thing is, it worked a few days ago. All of a sudden it just stopped working, i will try that though. Also, the amp is a piece, it's an SPL amp. thanks |
