would 1000rms be to much for an RE: SX which is rated at 1000rms?

ive tried to reach RE and ghet my question answered but no luck.

if i cant get this answered i will go to the actual location.

1000 rms sub should take 1000 rms and then some.

The rms rating is continual power handling. They wouldnt rate it at that if it couldnt take it.
