I have 2 Apline 12" 4 ohm Type R's wired in Parallel to a Alpine MRD-M500 amp, they are in a vented box inside a 2003 ford explorer sport. I was wanting to know if anyone could tell me what to put all these settings at to get the best performance out of it. 1. Low Pass Filter -- 30hz-200hz? 2 Subsonic Filter--15hz-50hz? 3.Parametric Eq-- What frequencey? width? 4.Phase? 0 degrees/180 degrees? If you could help me out with these settings it would be much appreicated. Thanks |

1. Depending on your sub and type of music, 80Hz - 120Hz. 2. 18Hz - 20Hz, again depending on your sub. 3. Parametric equalizer is a bit harder to set. Unless you have excellent ears, a device such as RTA will help. 4. If you notice the bass lagging behind your front speakers, then set it to 180, if not 0 will do.

1. around 100Hz to start and play with the control till you get the desired sound. 2. 25Hz 4. Start with 0, then 180 if you notice the lagging. |
