i am looking into buyin a capacitor(s) i am gonna be runnin 2 kenwood 800watt amps what type of capacitor do u recremend and what farad or frade i forgot how to spell |

dont go for a capacitor.. go for an Alternator upgrade. upgrade th magic 3 wires n the Alt.. that is it ! if u still want to go for a capacitor, remember its approx 1 Farad for 1000w

I have to agree with morphine, change that alt, but if you want a cap...like morp said its 1 fard per 1000watts, and i would go with Stinger caps... $hit i have one just for looks. I upgraded my alt and a yellowtop. |

A capacitor will help only after an alternator upgrade. If however, you use self control with the volume level, then capacitor will help smooth out some voltage rails.
