i just got this car and it came with a Alpine CDE-7821 the stereo will cut out and u have to hit the dash board to get it to work again i talked to the originaly owner and he says its been like that since the day he bought it what could be wrong with it and how can i fix it ?

Loose wire or something in the unit needs to be resoldered. Best thing to do is to take it to a Technician so they can repair the connections.
