V1... had a passport 8500 (before X50) for two years, the V1 beats it hands in range, plenty of time to slow down from twenty or so over the speed limit, with the passport, I had much less warning. The V1's directional arrows make a huge difference, it is nice to know whre the radar is coming from and watch the arrows change from front to side to rear as you pass it buy. Do the radar thing right the first time, you wont regret it.

Oh... and Valentine just came out with an upgrade for POP mode, so I can upgrade my unit without shelling out for a new detector |

That is all that I know of... they are expensive, but mine saved me twice last night when I made a 200 mile trip, and another two times when I came back this morning, good luck |
