When i am connecting the power cable do i need to disconnect anything on the battery(negative terminal) so i get shocked while im unscrewing it? id rather not get electricuted lol

all i did was just pull out the fuse under your hood the is in your power cable line, so that no power was runnin thru the wire

Yes you do disconnect the negative terminal first, and connect it last. Make sure you connect your ground wire first on your amp, becuase if you connect the RCA wires first, the amp will think that the RCA wires is the ground and could fry your head unit and maybe your amp.
