I decided to hook up my speakers today after unhooking them quite a while back. I think I might've made a big mistake. I accidentally put the power wire to the ground on the amp and the opposite for ground. I was alarmed when I smelled smoke. I immediately unhooked it. It was only like that for about 10/15 seconds. The amp still comes on but I put my speaker wire from the amp to my speakers correctly, and no sound comes out the speakers. Any suggestions?

Unhook the amp from the HU first. Then take one of the rca input cables on the amp and lightly touch it with your thumb. If the amp makes a humming noise, then it's good. If you hear nothing, then try the other channel.
If that's silent too, then most likely your amp is blown. It only takes fraction of a second to blow electronics.
