Have you ever tested the xtr series from orion? If so are they any good, specifically the 1000 watt class d amp? It will give me 500w rms at 2ohms,just want i need. I figured if they were pretty good i could look around and get a deal on one. I really want the zapco ref 500.1 but i cant find one on ebay and the cheapest i found one was $379 plus s/h. But if there is that big of a differance in them then ill just go zapco. Oh yea,I dont know if your interested but there is a brand new 225g4 on ebay for $219 and no ones bid on it yet. |

TWiZTiD, Orion's XTR is a great amp. It is priced in the same range as MTX amps. If you look at their manual, it is almost identical to HCCA G4s. I was bidding on XTR 1400 and 900 before. Got over bid at the last minute. If you want power, look at those 2 models. You won't be disappointed. Like always Zapco is your first choice, but XTR is a great amp for the money.
