Nick if you could get that amp for $80, go for it. PPI's PC and PCX series are great amp. They are priced below MTX and probably in the same range as Pyramid. However, it's night and day in quality comparision. If you want one of the best sounding amp, look at PPI 2300.2 amp. I have that one. I don't think you'll ever upgrade in the future if you purchase that model. It's 75w rms x 2 @4ohms, and 150w x 2 @2ohms. The damping factor is >500, and slew rate is >50V!

If you can't find one for PCX-250, then look for the PCX series amp. They are almost all identical in spec wise.
