i burned a couple cds of mp3s to play in my alpine; put like 105 files on one, 103 on the other. however, the alpine only reads 52 files on each disc. is that the max # of files it will read? if i create subfolders will it allow more?
thanks. the manual doesnt say much. i'm gonna burn another disk with subfolders, but i just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this.

You should be able to read something like 256 files per folder

Hey J.W. check the manual and make sure u burn the files according to the recommended "burn method".
If I remember correctly, there's track-at-once and disc-at-once. It says it wont support one of those methods. I cant recall which one. Heh.
