I am considering getting a second JBL BP 600.1 amp for my system. It runs 600 watts RMS at 2ohms so I am wondering if the 4 gauge wiring (Monster Cable) I have from my battery to amp will be able to handle 1200 watts now? Also, what kind of capacitor may be necessary with this much power? Thanks in advance! |

The rule of thumb for capacitor is 1F for every 1000w of power. So in your case, 1.5F would do. |
