I need an upgrade on my OEM system.

Initial thoughts are 3 ways (6 1/2") up front (50+ - 20Kmhz), 2 ways (6 1/2") in the middle doors (30-25Kmhz), and replace the 4 x 10's with a set of 6 x 9 blauplunkt I have on hand.

Also, with the cd slave unit not working, how many in dash units incorporate am/fm/multi disc cd with at least 50 watts per channel?

I don't need the boom boom anymore but a good quality system is what I would really love.
My hearing is pretty good and I can tell the difference between highs and lows.

Not a novice but I don't really want all the complicated two amps with crossovers and sub woofers attached to the third seat in back.
