I want to cross these so that they dont produce much bass. Just clear highs. Do you all think that around 300 HZ would be enough. I am buying the bass blockers from Crutchfield btw.

I think that would be a little too high. I usually crossover the front channel around 160-200Hz. Anything higher than that might change the sound and make it sound a little off. If you could tell me more about your system, there might be a better way to go.
