Both are excellent HU's. The only advantage to the pioneer is that it puts out a little more RMS per channel than the alpine (22.5 vs 18). However, if you have a 4-channel amp, then that doesn't really matter anymore. Other than that, it's all a matter of preference. |

Umm... NO. The alpine 9835 puts out 26 watts RMS. It requires a direct connection to the battery however. |
