Just bought a jvc kd-g700 and about to install it into a 97 chysler concorde but i need to know how those wire harness connector really work. like do you just have to take the stock out and snap the cords from the aftermarket and the cars together and be done with it or is the still cutting and crimping/soldering to be done

You should be able to buy a wiring harness for it. Yes they just snap together to the other harness. The wiring harness does two things it give you more wire and it tells you what each wire hooks to. You will still have to hook wires up to the head unit. There is still crimping or soldering to be done.
