Hey guys im lookin into buying one of 2 amps, either the Soundstream XTA880.2, or the USAcoustics USG2200. they both look like good amps, and the only real difference i noticed is the Soundstream says it has more power, but also the USAcoustics rates its power at 12.2V instead of 14.4 can any one please help me in choosing one or the other. go w/ 12.2v because at 14.4 running it may be higher rms. n most batteries are at 12.5 or 13v when car off before system is on and wo when your driving your 12.2 system is now pushing a few more maybe a good hundred or two more than its rated at,i mean how can u keep your battery that low while your playing it w/o having car off? |
