I am getting a Soundstream XTA880.2 amplifier. its 220x2 at 4 ohms. the thing i was wondering is if i am using this amp for subs (i know its 2 channel instead of mono but soundstream has some kind of bass thing on this amp that is supposed to be awesome) and i have an 8 guage wiring kit do i need to upgrade to a 4 gauge or even 0 gauge wiring kit? will keeping the 8 gauge affect performance? thanks alot guys.

keep your 8 gauge, don't worry, amp wont push out 220x2 ( more like 80-120 watts per channel) the 8 gauge will be perfect. If you do upgrade, it will be the same.
