OK! So i have a 12" Audiobahn flame excurtion AW121T. My amplifier is a phoenix gold xs2500, its only 1000W, the sub is 1100W, I feel its not getting enough power. I also have an Ultralinear UL2200D amp which is 400W. Is there a way I can connect both to the sub without seriously injuring it? |

Ryan, you are not under powering the subs. You talk like 1000w is nothing. Let met tell you, 300w rms of real power is enough to shake the trunk/mirrors and windows in your car.
Chances are, if 1000w is not enough power, then your amp is not putting out real numbers.
Try listening to a great 400w amp. It will sound louder than 1000w cheap ones.
For your 2nd question, you can not combine 1000w amp with 400w amp. |
