i have an orion 2500D do you think it would be safe to push it at half ohm?its 1 ohm stable but ive heard of people running them at 1/2 ohm can anyone confirm this???

Just outa curiosity, what ya pushing with that tank to want to run it at 1/2 ohm? I had an old soundstream pushing 2 mtx 10's at 1/4 ohm- But that's old timey shiznit. This new stuff is highly overrated. I do have an acquaintance running that amp at 1/2 ohm...but it almost caught fire. Run a cooling fan if applicable.

lol thanks man i guess ill stay away from that then im running type xs but i would have upgraded if i would have done that
