Hello and thank you in advance for any help you may give me. I recently had Best Buy install a Pionner 4700 deck. I put the rear speakers in today, and the driver-side speaker is silent. I switched the speakers to make sure one of them is not bad (they are brand new Pioneer 6x9's), and the driver side is still silent. The speakers are fine. Any clue? Wiring problem? Deck problem? |

Likely a wiring problem. Sounds like a connection just got knocked loose somewhere, maybe in the head unit wiring. |

yeah i dont every let any place hook up my stuff because places like best buy and circuit city all do doozy jobs. i had an alarm system installed and when i got my car back my wiring harness for my windows wasn't hooked back up. and the alarm wasn't even connected properly. so odds are is that they made a bad connection on the back of the head unit, so just double check their work or if your feeling randy, go up there and raise some hell. |
