If one was to add a pair of midbass speakers up foront with an existing component set, would it be best to run the midbass in stereo or mono?

The reason i ask is b/c i have a 4 channel amp; could use the front channels for the comps, rear for the midbass, and if i bridge the rear channels of the amp i can get 230watts. If i run them in stereo i only get 75x2 @ 4ohm. Cant seem to find any 2ohm midbass speakers. Seems to be a few 8ohms, which can be wired to 4ohms - perfect for the bridged rear channels. any suggestions?

I would personaly like stereo, but not much of a difference. I have a similiar setup. I was thinking of bridging the rear for midbass on a 2ohm dvc in series to make four ohms. Then run my fronts in stereo, but the only problem is that then I wouldn't get as much power to the fronts. If they only made 2 ohm components.
