ok on my amp there are three little things to hook wires into....one for ground, then power, then one that says REM??? what does that maen? i got a little spool of wire in my amp kit that says remote turn-on wire...is that what goes there and waht does it hook to? on the diargram in the box that game with my amp there is a picture of a wire going from taht REM slot to the radio, but all that i no of taht goes there are my rca cables.....right?
any help at all will be appreciated |

Yes the remote wire hooks on the amp where it says REM and then it runs back to your head unit and there should be a blue wire on the back of your head unit,it should say remote.That wire is wut actually turns on your amp,when you start your car the hu comes on then sends a signal through that little wire to your amp to turn your amp on. |

ahhhh i see i see thank you very much u saved me, i almost concidered not hooking anything in there at all, but hey waht does REM stand for? |

remote,since its kinda like a remote it "turns on" your amp. |
