When installing the amplifier to your subs, what level do you set the subwoofer control to between 1-15 as you tune your amp and gain and freq. etc.. and do you guys that have subs in your car keep the mx feature on or off? I have mine at MX 1 for now. anyone know how to set it up.

Leave everything flat when you set the gains...I have my HU eq set to "flat" (sound cleaner and more real to me) and my sub setting varies between 9 & 13 depending on which cd is playing...as far as the MX goes I prefer to have it off and I think it muddies the sound a little too much for my taste.

Ive noticed when MX is on it makes the bass and treble thicker but makes it sound unnatural to me. I have my mx on 1 and it sounds good for now. Anybody else have anything similar to share.
