i have two extreme 12 inch 500 watt dual voice speakers. I have a 500 wat mono amp and have all that stuff hooked up. But i dont know how to wire the speakers. Someone help thanks

well the way it sounds you will need another amp period. i really wouldnt brigde them this could break the amp.

how many ohms is each voice coil? is the amp 2 ohm stable? is it 1 ohm stable?

k. so you have two 4 ohm DVC subs. is the amp stable at 2 ohms?

you cant run two dual 4ohm coil subs mono at 2ohms. 1 or 4

i have xtreme amp too and yea it says its 2 ohm stereo stable and 2 ohm mono stable

if its 2ohm stereo stable its not 2 ohm mono stable. 1ohm stereo is 2ohms mono and 2ohms stereo is 4 ohms mono.

its says its a mono block amp with a bulit in crossover whaterver that means

k. two more things. are the subs 500 watts max, or 500 watts RMS? and what is the amps make and model exactly?

500 watts max, the name says extreme made by directed audio


well it says in the book its 1500X 2-ohm mono stable

k. that amp only does 250 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. those subs can take 250 watts. so get one more amp just like the one you have, then you'll be fine.

Im going to be running a single MTX 8512-44 12" off a Phoenix Gold Xenon x 400.1.....I know I want to be running it parallel...how exactly do I do that?Do i just want to run + to + and - to - on the amp and run short wires around to the other posts the same way?
