I have one of the old xtant 1001d (1000w beauty.) It used to work perfectly, but now it blows inline fuses whenever i try and power it on. I disconnected everything except the power, remote lead, and the ground, and it still blew the in line. The amp has LED lights, and what happens is the red power light comes on, then a blue LED flashes that indicates Low Voltage, then the inline blows. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I miss my bass :-(

You disconnected speakers and rca's too? If so then its probably a bad amp. Hope its under warranty.

well it WAS working perfectly, then something in the trunk bumped into it and this happened... would a squashed power lead cause the low voltage? i'm wondering if the same thing would happen to the inline fuse if you were using like 16GA power cable with a 1000w amp
