I currently own a jl 500/1 amp and was wondering which sub would be a perfect match. Would it be the 10w7 or the 13.5w6v2?what do u think would sound louder? Also, or shoould i get two 12w6v2? |

the 13w6v2 would be a good match as would the 10w7 .. cant say for certain but i would say the 13.5 would be louder because of more cone area.. also the 13w6 is said to have better sq |

Ya, I would think the 13 would be louder.
Also, just an idea look at the new Alpine type R. It's 500 watt's rms, and look's like it is designed after the type X. |

yes the 13w6v2 will be louder and have better sound quality. Personally I am not a big fan of the w7's. They get loud but for the price difference between the w6v2 and the w7 its not worth it when the w6v2 is a much better sounding daily driver woofer. |

Adrian i own 2 jl 500/1's and have 2 12w6v2's in a sealed box. It sounds great but i wanna upgrade to the 13w6v2's cause i want that perfect match! Itll give you more spl in a ported box too |
