i have a capacitor and my amp (audiobahn a 1801x) hooked up for few months now. it was running perfect. yesterday, when i started my car i heard a long beep from my capacitor. i went out, popped the trunk. i see that my capasitor is dead (no light lumination) and amp went into protection mode. what happened? help me find it.

ok...no response. but atleast can someone tell me whats the operating dc input range (in volts)for this amp? i am thinking maybe it's a overload thing.
