hello, i have a mtx 1501d mono amp, it gives 750w x 1 at 4ohms and 1500 x 1 at 2ohms. i have two subs 4ohms each. should i wire them in parallel and get 2ohms and hook it up? or should i leave them at 4ohms each? if i have 2 subs hooked up and the amp is giving 750w x 1 that means that the power is dividing in 2 subs right? so if i wire them ot get 2ohms i will get 1500w x 1 divided into 2? so basically i can get more power that way right? and one more thing, i already have the subs in the box so now if i wanan wire them parallel, can i just take one wire and connect both subs and then strip that wire and run another wire from it to the amp? is that the same thing if i do everything inside the box and running one wire from the box to the amp? help me out guys. thanks

Connect each sub to the amp. The speaker terminals on that amp are already paralleled. So all you have to do is connect each speaker to the amp. This will give you a 2 ohm load and maximize the amplifier.
