Wow - everybody has the same problem - just a different manual. I also need a manual for my TDA 7537 Alpine stereo. If anyone knows how to set the "darn" clock correctly, I would actually settle for that. If you have the manual that can be downloaded, please send it (or the info) to me at zwqh@iup.edu Thanks |

http://www.restricted.alpine-electronics.co.uk/support/ownersdatabase/ Search for your model at the above link, will come up with models in that group, pick your model-will have pdf files, EN for english, SP for spanish, etc. The IM file is the Installation Manual. Don't know if these are strictly European versions, but they are better than nothing. Get them while you can! |

This thread tells me two things about Alpine stereos. Their interface designs are so counter intuitive that you have to be a freakin engineer to decipher them. And this problem is further demonstrated by the fact that they don't have a user support site that's easy to find. Apparently Alpine doesn't care much about their end users. |

When the time is showing on the display, hold down the 'clock display' button for 3 seconds and the time will begin blinking. Change hours or minutes by pressing on the appropriate labeled button. User manuals can be found on the Alpine USA website. Google 'Alpine USA' to find, go to 'consumer site' and enter your model. |

The REAL United States site for Alpine is www.alpine-usa.com That's where you'll get all the stuff you need for any model. Check under Tech Center and follow the route to your model |

My CDE-7825 will not play CD's unless they are very warm like in the heat of summer, i.e. it spits out all "cool" C.D.'s , which gets me pretty hot in the winter. I'm hoping there is an inexpensive solution to repairing this problem. I can't imagine paying the repair center $135.00 for this. I couldn't find an owners manual on Alpine's tech website. Any advise? |

I'm with the rest of you. Used car I recently purchased has an Alpine 7524 cassette/receiver. Yup, no manual. All Alpine-USA has is an installation guide for this model. I did manage AFTER SOME CONSIDERABLE TIME, to program it fairly well but then had to change out the car battery and lost all the settings (I'm now told if I had removed the faceplate before disconnecting the battery, it would have preserved the settings). Anyway, would be most appreciative if anybody out there has a copy of this manual or could direct me to a source besides Alpine-USA which might have same. Thanks! |

For those (like me) who were having clock setting problems - from the www.alpine-usa.com web site. Subject: How can I set my clock on my Alpine aftermarket headunit? The head unit may vary on the procedure by the model and year it was introduced. Here is a break down by year. If you do not know the year you may want to try Alpine Tech Center. 2001 - 2002 Models: Press the "CLK" (clock) button until the time is displayed, then press and hold the "CLK" button for at least 3 seconds until the time indicator blinks. While the time is blinking. turn the rotary encoder to increase or decrease the minutes. Once you've set the clock it will automatically return to normal operation after 5 seconds. Pre 2000 Models: Press and hold the "CLOCK" button for 3 seconds until the time indicator blinks. Press "PRESET 5" to adjust the hour setting. Press "PRESET 6" to adjust the minutes. Press "CLOCK" again to exit clock adjustment mode Hope this helps. |
