I've got a tacoma ext cab which came with tweeters in the door. I want to replace the factory tweeters and front door speakers but I'm not going to hookup the back speakers. Should i buy a 2 channel amp and run the tweeters and speakers off the same channel or a 4 channel and run the tweeters and speakers off different channels? Thanks for all the past answers.

tweeters usually require some sort of crossover that connect up to the amplifier so that you dont damage them. Buy a 2 channel amp, by the sounds of it your not going to go hardcore with the set up so just buy a very basic amp to cover your needs I would only spend $80.00.

I'm probably going to get the infinity kappas, so they come with a crossover. Any suggestions on an amp for them?
