i have 2 BP600.1 amps and 4 ga. wire...i put a distro. block on the 4 ga. and split it to two 8 ga. wires. I have one 8 ga. going to each amp and a 60A inline fuse one foot from the battery.

Shouldn't this fuse blow like as soon as the music hits???
The book says that each amps max current draw is 57A.....wouldnt that make the draw way over the 60A fuse and make it blow???

Help me out....should it blow....and how big of a fuse do i need?

you'd want a 110A fuse for that holder, but no, the 60A wouldn't blow until the amps reach enough output to break the 60A draw.. which may not happen till near-full volume
