I just got 2 JL 12"W3V2 subs and I wanted to know what would be good amp to power these subs? Do you recommend a sealed box?

If you want good sound at low price, go with MTX/Audiobahn amps. For great sound, try JL, for best sound, get Zapco/Arc Audio/Orion/PPI PC & PCX series/Xtant/US Amps.
For the worst possible sound, Pyramid/Sony/Pyle/Lanzar/Boss.
