On the ground wire on your amp, where do you connect it to? Do you connect it to the frame of your truck? |

Yes,make sure to scrape or sand down the paint first so its pure metal and a clean surface this will give you a better ground connection. Then you can just drill a hole and put a bolt in it with the ground wire in between the bolt and frame.Make sure it is a good three feet away from the amp. |

So I can connect it inside the cab of my truck. |

Actually, the ground wire needs to be as short as possible, as close as you can possibly get it while leaving a little slack. |

Do you think I can run the ground wire out my door so I can hook it up to the frame? |

any metal part of the body should do fine for a ground connection. i'd not run a cable out the door. |
