i was lookin to get the alpine 9835 but now see the 9855 coming out sometime soon. is the new 9855 all that much better than the 9835? other than the glidetouch it seems to be the same if not a step down from the 9835. will the newer 9855 still have the motorized tilt face?? does anyone have any input as to whether i should go with the 9835 or wait for the new 9855?? thanks. |

it will have the swing face... i dont really like the idea of this new glidetouch .. personally it sounds like something that would wear out down the road and that ud have problems with .. also the 9855 will not have the Vdrive amplifier that the 9835 has which is 26 watts rms as opposed to 18.. the tuning options i dont know but the 9835 has plenty and i wouldnt think u need any more unless your building a comp car or somethin |

thanks mark. i may just stick with the 9835, not totally sure yet. thanks again for your input, further suggestions would be great. |
