yeah it will slam 2 of them nicely but it will also power 3 of them as well. The 1000/1 would be over kill too much power. I ran 3 10w6's that are 3oo rms with 600 watts and they slammed very very nicely so I wouldnt say that they would be underpowered. plus that amp itself is underrated as well. |

Hey Mike I think I got a combo that would work really well for you. Get the dual 6ohms run them at 1ohm mono to a orion Hcca 250G4 or GS or the competition amp but try to locate a G4 or Gs first it will power those subs beautifully. As a matter of fact I would really want to hear that. |

James thats way to much money for me I can spend 600 on an amp .. although that is a good amp ... i cant do it .. i dont have the funds ... my dad has the 250g4 in his cadillac ... nice amp for sure
but couldnt like the kicker kx1200.1, mtx 1501d, those amps push 3 very nicely? |

The MTX is only two ohm stable. Can you wire 3 speakers down to two ohm? |

Ok Mike I just got a 250GS which is the same as the G4just all red for $300. Look on Ebay you can find them on there sometimes. I mean you dont have to get that amp but I would. If you want to run three of those I would deff get dual 6ohm that way you can run them easily at 4ohms or 1ohm. As for amps there are many many amps that will suit your needs. The kicker will be too much power for those and neither of them are stable at 1 ohm and dont put out enough power at 4.
Ok forget what I just said I didnt see that you are going with only two of them now my bad. lol!
I would get dual 2ohm run them at 2ohms with a JBL 600.1 or a Kicker 600.1 they will sound nice. |
