Thread: Will a 1400 watt amp kit bring down watts in a 2000 watt amp? |

I have a 2000 watt amp and I was looking at amp wiring kits. The ones I saw were only 1400 watt kits. Will that kit bring down the watts in my amp |

That depends on the make and model of your 2000 watt amp. If it is Sony then you have nothing to worry about but if it is Zapco,PPI,Orion,US amps,Arc Audio,Tru Tech,ECT...... you will not get full power out of your system not to mention melt your wires possably causing a fire on the way. |

For that much power, you're definately needing to run 0/1 gauge wire. |
