i have to make a decision for this guy by tomorrow.

hes offering me and alpine m350 amplifier with an alpine type r subwoofer

or

a rockford fosgate p3001 amplifier with a rockford fosgate P3 subwoofer.

i dont know what is the better deal and what will sound better but i think the fosgate stuff might be more powerful. please help

Definitlly the alpine.much better than rf.how much is he selling them for?

he wants 240 for either package and is including a ported box and wires. all parts are new.

Yes it is a good deal if everything is brand new.On ebay the brand new alpine m350 is $120 and up.Is the sub 10" or 12" The subs new are 10"-$75up and a 12"-$100up.Plus the box and wires would be estamated $75-$100.But you could get the same setup used on ebay for alot cheaper than that,but i would just get them from your friend if they are new.Just to let you know alpine doesnt make the best amps out there subs are good it should sound good but dont expect massive bass or to be heard all that far away.
